Delete your GoVaya account

You can delete your account yourself in the app:

1. Open GoVaya and sign in.
2. Go to Profile, then Account and privacy.
3. Tap Delete my account, type DELETE and confirm.

Finish or cancel any booked trips first.

What is deleted

Your sign-in, profile, posts, offers, trips, messages, reviews you’ve received, saved routes, children’s details, profile photo and driver document photos are deleted straight away.

What may be kept

Reports other members made about safety may be kept for as long as needed to protect other members, and records may be kept for longer where the law requires it, such as fees a driver owes.

Can’t open the app?

Email info@govaya.co.za from the email address you signed up with, and ask us to delete your account. We’ll confirm within 30 days.
